They were saying at launch event that phone will connect to three different 5g towers nearby simultaneously to gain more speed and will have less latency.

I can say there is no place in India where 3 jio 5g tower are that much close to give signal to 1 devices at same time.
Then how distance towers give more speed and less latency?
