"In a draft proposed by the Health and Family Welfare Ministry as an amendment to the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements Act, 1954), advertisements for magic remedies, fairness creams, treatment for stammer, cure for AIDS and more would come under the scanner."

Funny. Bollywood is the one major movie industry which has pushed white females and fair males as the standard for decades while pushing darker people as villains and unsexy.

Don't really care about hindi movies tbh. Their politics are poisonous.
Haven't watched one since Dangal.
Southern movie industries had dark heroines for decades and even our industries have fallen into this milky fair trap seeing bollywood which is horrible.

I'll suggest you to watch Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Irrfan Khan's movies, their movies are really good (not like typical Bollywood masala)

and the MAIN reason I hate Bollywood and Hindi TV serials is.. they put dark make-up on white skin actors/actress INSTEAD of giving actual dark skinned models a chance!..

The ONLY bollywood actress BIPASHA BASU didn't cared about her dark & tanned skin.
