India spinner Pragyan Ojha on Sunday broke into the top-15 of the ICC rankings for the first time in his career following a strong show against the West Indies in the third Test, in which he took seven wickets.

Six of his seven wickets came in the second innings of the West Indies and he jumped 11 places to climb to the 15th spot, just ahead of Australia's Peter Siddle.

However, India paceman Ishant Sharma slipped three places to the 20th position after taking just one wicket in the match. Out of action pacer Zaheer Khan remained static at number six.

Meanwhile, India continued to be the second placed side in team rankings but closed the gap on England at the top of the table to seven points.

India gained one ratings point for the 2-0 series win and moved up to 118 ratings points.

In the rankings for Test batsmen, Sachin Tendulkar (6), Rahul Dravid (8) and VVS Laxman (14) lost a place each while Virender Sehwag was unchanged at number 19.
