Odd-even part 2: 360Ride introduces 'Ride and Earn' programme

Bengaluru-based startup 360Ride has announced the 'Ride and Earn' program to encourage people to support and share rides with other travellers during the second leg of the 'odd-even' traffic scheme in Delhi
As a part of this programme, the commuters can earn upto Rs 1,200 by sharing their ride on four-wheelers and Rs 600 on two-wheelers. The programme will be applicable for the period of 15 days starting April 15. The money will be transferred from 360Ride account to the users bank account.
Lokesh Bevara, CEO and co-founder, 360Ride said, "The odd-even mandate signalled the need to reduce traffic congestion in the country. Extending that thought, 360Ride believes that the ride sharing segment in India has a huge potential for growth and is the best way to streamline the transportation system in India. The "Ride and Earn" program aims to support the initiative by the Delhi Government and promote ride sharing in the city, thereby reducing the dual problem of congestion and pollution on Delhi NCR roads."

360Ride offers P2P-powered free ride sharing platform to commuters. Launched in 2015, 360Ride aims at creating a strong pool of like-minded verified commuters by becoming an alternative mode of urban transportation.
The startup plans to utilize the fund to expand its marketing and promotional campaign and create awareness about 360Ride to solve the major problem of demand and supply in ride sharing segment.
In January, the company raised Rs 1 crore in seed funding.
