Firefox unveils folding bikes, supports odd-even formula

In a bid to create awareness about Odd-Even formula and to highlight the importance of using folding bikes in the country, biking company Firefox has extended its support to the Delhi Government`s Odd-Even vehicle rationing scheme.

"Odd-Even is a great concept for decongestion of traffic and is an effective pollution control initiative. Riding bicycles to office is not only an environment friendly option but also a great fitness activity that will help people remain healthy. Folding bike TERN that can be carried along to office, gym; people internationally use such bikes to commute to office regularly and for short distances. It would be very over-whelming if people take to cycling for short distances and office travel, this trend is catching up in India," said Shiv Inder Singh, CEO, Firefox Bikes.

"People want to cycle, but space is a huge problem in cities, this folding cycle can be carried to office, home, gym easily", he added.
Folding Bikes form an environmentally friendly mode of transportation as it`s powered by the cyclist`s own force and energy.

This can be a way to maintain a good exercise routine and a healthier lifestyle for the cyclist.
The weight of the bike is 12 kg and is available for sale at Rs 31,000.

Their network is spread across 90 cities with over 200 outlets throughout the country.

The Firefox and Trek segment enjoys a solid market position as they offer a wide range of over 75 bike models which caters to all age groups.

The company targets its products at high-income salaried groups, corporate professionals, kids and young parents.
