North India power failure

Very Bad Day For me Also many other Peoples....
The northern transmission grid crashed at 2.35 AM, Affected eight states ( Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chandigarh) into darkness.
Delhi Metro and Airport in Delhi and many other Services Like Water Supply And passenger and local trains,Cng pumps in major cities of North India were also hit.

Power supply was restored in a phase-by-phase manner across North Indian sates that had plunged into darkness early on Monday. By the Tuesday evening the electric supply was completely restored.Now Power Ok And Restore here in my City Bikaner After The 18 Hours. :shy

The last time the grid collapse occurred was in 2001, it has happened now after 10 years. :)

Punjab government has also announced drought like conditions due to less moonsoon rainfall.. So power supply due to less rainfall also affected

Friends what happened there in yours locations but here in my areas above 90 percent people theft the electricity by different ways.. So it is bad habits in our bloods..

Current update:

as power power had been taken from eastern grid than western grid to make up for the power supply of northern grid now In the east, West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand have been affected apart from the seven north-eastern states.

West Bengal is total blackout. it will be restored only today midnight as told.

The blackout has affected a total of 12 states in north and east India. Indian railways say six zones have been affected with over 300 trains across India.
And a correction, not all seven north-eastern states have not been affected. Assam, Sikkim, and eastern states affected include West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha and Jharkhand.

Pl all the members of ddf especially in the above states stay safe in homw as now dacoits and anti-social elements will roam free now. it is a dooms day for all.

due to northern grid failure they had taken more power from eastern grid which had failed today and collapsed.

tommorrow from southern grid they will take power and it will collapse too. so all the members of ddf in southern states be ready for total blackout. stock in excess the essential commodoties such as water in your tank, as no power no pump.

But today power not gone here, it's gone for only 5 min then back again.
