Nokia recently unveiled its DRM free, legal music service for those who use Nokia phones.

Nokia Music Unlimited was only available for select high-end Nokia smartphones. But with this new update the many sub-10k phones will also get this feature.

Launching the service, Mr. D Shivakumar, Managing Director, Nokia India, said, "Nokia has been synonymous with digital music in this country. We have pioneered many initiatives in this space starting with pre-installed music, launch of music albums on mobile phones and then Nokia Music Unlimited for our hi-end phones. The offering of Nokia Music Service on feature phones underscores our commitment to truly democratise music by taking it to the masses."

Nokia Music Store includes catalogues from major global labels like Sony Music Entertainment and EMI Music and Nokia’s local partnership with Indian Music Industry (a consortium of more than 150 music companies).
