I don't think so whatsapp is needed in every phone. For that big touch screen phone are there . These are the phone so purely made for using as secondary phone and for that only the basic need , clear voice call and Sms service is required . It has wireless fm this is it's main USP.
I think a basic phone is needed here in India with Volte feature open to all network so that we can enjoy hd voice call

Definitely. Earlier many desi companies introduced volte feature phones and no follow up later.
