No cash withdrawal limit at ATMs from February 1, announces RBI

NEW DELHI: The Reserve Bank of India on Monday announced that the limits placed on cash withdrawals from ATMs stand withdrawn from February 1, 2017.
At present, the daily limit on cash withdrawals from ATMs is Rs 10,000.
The limits placed on cash withdrawals from current accounts/ cash credit accounts/ overdraft accounts also stand withdrawn with immediate effect, the RBI has said.
However, restrictions on withdrawal of Rs 24,000 a week from savings bank account will continue for now.

means we can withdraw more than 4500/- per day from atm but not more than 24000/- per week.

What will happen by this ? There are only 2000rs Notes in the ATM. :wall Should do something about 100 Rs and 500rs notes

Bro it means there won't be any limit on withdrawals for ATM w.e.f. 1st Feb 2017.

Rs.100 notes available at ICICI ATM's at my location. But am yet to see Rs.500 from ATM.
