Australia all-rounder Shelley Nitschke bows out of the game today at the top of the Reliance ICC Women's ODI Player Rankings for all-rounders, while the 34-year-old ends her international career as the number-one bowler, alongside England's Katherine Brunt, in the Reliance ICC Women's ODI Player Rankings for bowlers.

Fellow retiree, New Zealand captain Aimee Watkins, also leaves on a high with the 28-year-old all-rounder finishing her career in ninth place in the Reliance ICC Women's ODI Player Rankings for batters. Meanwhile, Nitschke has finished her career third in the batting rankings.

The conclusion of the women's quadrangular series in England has seen a shake-up in the top four of the Reliance ICC Women's ODI Team Rankings too. By beating Australia in the final of the series, host England has remained in top spot while Australia, which went into the tournament sitting in fourth, has risen to second place.

India has maintained its third place position in the rankings after beating New Zealand yesterday, but it was a disappointing series for the White Ferns who have consequently slipped from second to fourth in the global rankings.

There has been plenty of movement in the player rankings, particularly in the top 20 of the batting table which is still topped by India's Mithali Raj.

England's Clare Taylor has risen to fourth while Lydia Greenway has assumed her highest ranking to date of fifth position. Meanwhile, Australia's Jess Cameron has rocketed up the rankings to break into the top 20 for the first time. The 22-year-old now occupies 14th place.

Joining Cameron for the first time in the top 20 is India's Poonam Raut (17th) and New Zealand's Lucy Doolan (19th). Just outside of the top 20, India's Harpreet Kaur has climbed 25 places to now occupy 24th and will surely be knocking on the door of the top 20 soon.

In the bowlers' rankings, Nitschke tops the table but is joined by England's Brunt as the number one bowler - the first time the 26-year-old has held the position. Brunt's 5-18 against Australia in the final of the series yesterday (7 July) helped the fast bowler to claim top spot alongside the ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year 2010.

Meanwhile, former world number one, India's Jhulan Goswami has risen to third in the rankings after a strong performance with the ball in the series. The 27-year-old medium-pacer had a good series - the highlight being her 6-31 against New Zealand on 5 July.

New Zealand's Nicola Browne and England's Laura Marsh have risen to joint fifth while India's Gouther Sultana has broken into the top 10 for the first time to claim her highest ranking to date of ninth position.

Outside of the top 20, Australia's 20-year-old medium-pacer Sarah Coyte has risen an impressive 52 places and now occupies 24th after finishing the series with 12 wickets for 156 runs.

Finally, in the Reliance ICC Women's ODI Player Rankings for all-rounders, Nitschke finishes her career at the top the pile while West Indies Stafanie Taylor is in second place. Australia's Lisa Sthalekar occupies third while Browne and Watkins round off the top five.
