Until recently, the only way you could get your hands on an Xbox One was through Amazon India, owing to Microsoft's deal with the store to exclusively sell Microsoft's products. However, it looks like Microsoft is finally expanding. The Xbox One, along with all accessories and Microsoft-published Xbox One games will be available on Flipkart as well as Amazon India.
Commenting on the same, Anshu Mor, Director of Interactive Entertainment Business, Microsoft India said, “Over the last one year, through our partnership with Amazon.in, we have received an overwhelming response from consumers for Xbox One and Xbox 360 in India. Responding to this growing demand, we are now extending the availability of our portfolio to Flipkart. With this move, we are looking to further expand our presence in the market.”
Back in August, Microsoft had also announced that it would be showcasing and selling Xbox One, its accessories and Microsoft-published Microsoft games through Microsoft's authorised resellers as part of the company's plans to expand its gaming presence in India.
The Xbox One is available on Flipkart, Amazon India and Microsoft Priority Resellers for Rs. 34,990.
