Don't be so ungrateful. Rahul has done everything for this team. He has batted everywhere where the team management has asked him to. Opened, middle order, kept wickets too but he is always an easy target

Rahul has average of 35 after 50 odd tests. He costed us WC(Maybe Pandya too). He scored century in Australia on his first tour. He did nothing after that on those tours. He scored ton against England in 2021 in last match but for a losing cause. Yes, between 2020-2023, his middle order performance in ODIs has been great. But he has some mental block that he cannot perform. I would say he is even more talented than Rohit and Kohli. But he lacks mental toughness. If India wants to win trophies, he needs to go out of the team. Today, to protect him, we moved Virat Kohli up the order where his record is not good. Conditions are similar to England where Virat struggled except 2018 tour. Rest is upto you to believe. We did remove Rahane and Pujara, but we are not removing Kohli and Rahul yet. I agree Rahul scored well in Hyderabad and South Africa. But his failures are costing us and his place is in trouble. Kohli hasn't been performing since years. Why persist with him for so long?
I agree. We are sending even Sarfaraz before Rahul. What does that mean? Team management is protecting him at all costs.
