its not completely batsman fault its of too much of T20 Cricket has made players to forget how to play spin... to play spin u can just stand and hit u have have good foot work and to know how sweep the ball, haven't seen single Indian player sweeping or coming out of crease and try to play the ball on full..... and test cricket is all about patience the way team approached this chase it seems like its last day we will try to win if we can then we will play for draw

I would say Rohit should be the first one to be sacked. He has never been a test match player and by making him captain selectors have ensured he plays every game when available. He neither has the temperament nor the technique for a test match player

I am not saying don't drop him. But there is nobody to captain this team. Continue him till England series. Drop Kohli after BGT. Now WTC Final seems dream. Take Ruturaj or Rahul at his position, even though I want one of Ricky Bhui or Indrajith at three and Gill at four(Make Gill Deputy). Then Pant at five. And anybody can play six. My option Sunder or Jurel. Axar should be our main spinner post WTC. No matter where is the match. Rana/Reddy can be swapped every alternate match and keep them away from T20i. Play Dube/Arshin if you want. But keep these players away from T20i. Siraj, Bumrah and Akashdeep are our front line pacers for overseas. Give new fast bowlers chance in home series. Arshadeep, Avesh, Vyashk. They won't have problem. They will pick wickets. Get Shami as a coach. Keep Manav Suthar and Sai Kishor for home series. Every alternate match they should play. Prepare rank turners.



Forcefully retire Ashwin, Jadeja and Kohli after WTC and Rohit after England series from all formats.



If Rahul can open then fine, if not drop him for good. Make Easwaran open. Give Gill captaincy till 2027 WC across two formats. Make Iyer deputy of Gill, only for ODIs.
