VK won't score runs now. He has became liability now for international cricket. His downfall has started. I will be surprised if he score runs. He will retire as soon as Rohit retires and will continue to play IPL whenever he gets chance. I wish KL Rahul gets dropped as well and new players get chance. I know Rahul scored century in South Africa as a middle order batsman and as a opener in England. But it's been 50 matches and he averages just 35. He costed us WC. There is mental block he plays with even in IPL, thats why couldn't score runs. We don't need such players. I believe Musheer Khan should be tried out after England series next year. Right now Easwaran as a back up opener. Make Gill play at four if Kohli retires after England series or WTC Championship and give debut to Ruturaj or Easwaran at three. Ricky Bhui or Dhruv Jurel at six with Pant at five(Pant captain, becaude Rohit should retire as soon as Kohli retires, no point in dragging career for WC, winning WTC and CT 25 is good chance for retirement, get Surya and Kishan for number six and five respectively, drop Rahul altogether, I don't mind Jurel or Samson as well at six with Surya/Rinku at five, the drop Iyer and get Sunder/Kishan/Gill at four with Jaiswal opening. I don't mind Sunder at six as well). But Ricky Bhui is solid player and can be effective against spinners overseas. Musheer Khan will have to wait till Rohit retires and Easwaran/Gaikwad moves up the order and bat at opening. Easwaran has to debut in New Zealand series at all costs. Drop Gill to five.

I will try out jurel more in next series in place of Rahul although he will play all three games due to his runs in Bangladesh series
