Day 4: Lunch Break - India lead by 385 runs
Lunch, day 4: 109 runs, two wickets and the lead mounting to an envious 385. The game seems to be slipping away from the control of the visitors. Not because of the lack of effort for they tried everything in their capacity to slow down the pace of the game but the only thing that seems to be getting slower is this track. Persisting with quick bowlers in unhelpful conditions, spreading out fields, having lengthy discussions between balls and effecting direct hits forcing the umpires to go upstairs on a regular basis, they gave it their all. But in the end find themselves at the mercy of the Indians. It started off well with Vijay's lazy elegance seeping into his running between the wickets as well as he gifted his wicket away, thanks to a brain freeze. But the advent of gambhir only helped matters for the home side with crisp boundaries and quick runs making their way onto the scoreboard.
