@BCCI...put pressure on ICC and ECB to make a pitch which is not dangerous like this and suit our guys... 
If this was in India that old hog bumble, Key would have critisized the BCCI for poor pitch. Now these same guys saying batting is poor because of T20s.

England have great batting potential in red ball cricket, but they are not utilizing it at all. Chopping within two three years. All players are currently good except Pope and Bairstow. Players like Jack Leaning, Tom Westley, Sam Hain, Tom baines, never got chance at all. Liam Livingstone once upon a time, was in squad for red ball cricket for Kiwi tour not getting chance for red ball cricket. Playing T20 cricket instead. But again, they must get their chances for two three series back to back by rotating bowlers. A fast bowlers like Archer, Wood, Stone should be rotated after one single match. Cricket is played too much. George Garton eventually left red ball cricket. Stone hasn't played much after being into reckoning. Rest aren't good. Fast bowlers needs to be rotated and talented batsman needs to be persisted. Again, with the kind of cricket being played, players should be differentiated for formats. Prasidh Krishna and Avesh Khan should have made test ball debuts by now. But they didn't. I simply don't understand. They need to be groomed like Siraj. Shami has crossed 30. Bumrah is nearing 30. Umesh is almost 35. How long these three will play with the kind of cricket India plays? I hope Umran Malik makes debut as well immediately in red ball cricket. Keep him for England, Australia, South Africa tours only.
India had not lots of players which lost into too much of IPL. Unmukt Chand and Baba Aparajith were seriously good talents. Never got chances. Let's see how things unfold for rest of the decade. Virat/Rahane/Rohit has finished their quota of cricket. Pujara can play for another two three years with his style of play.
