I don't mean to sound negative but this recycling of foreign shows needs to end. Hated Hotstar doing this. Don't why Sony Liv is trying to do same.

I don't think this is fault of Hotstar or Sony Liv as much as the fault of Applause Entertainment. Hotstar to launch its brand got the series from this production house, same goes with Sony Liv. Most of these productions are adaptations of popular foriegn shows. Atleast Hotstar trying to come out of that groove with series which they are involved in development from the start. However I feel remaking won't stop.

Atleast, Directors/ OTT 'S should consider formats relatively less popular like for example like what Ram Madhavani doing with Aarya i.e., Dutch series Penoza which was in development from 2013 as a feature turned series for Hotstar. And should not be like The Office, Criminal Justice or Doctor Foster which are quite popular and people might have already seen and scene to scene remakes is irritating too.

There hasn't been a bigger sin then the Indian remake of The Office.A masterpiece ruined by buffoons

All Credit goes to Applause Entertainment and BBC Studios India, by allowing Applause to remake it. Hotstar at least should not renew for another season, seems like it was the case too. Criminal Justice was renewed for Season though, at least it was not ruined as The Office was.
