ala vaikunthapurramulo now streaming on netflix.
malayalam version on march 4th

Maybe they might remove the Telugu version. From beginning itself they were mentioning about SunNxt only. Even they wrote it as In ala vaikunthapurram instead of ala vaikunthapurramulo. Something is weird 🤔

NO, they won't. Telugu version already streaming now and malayalam from march 4th. yes, ofcourse they promoted movies as "you won't see this in amazon or netflix". I think that's a bad strategy to promote a film. isn't it?

Even though they started streaming they might remove it or they made a deal with producers to stream it on Netflix with a different name.

Maybe that's why they wrote it as In ala vaikunthapurram.

Ya, that was a bad strategy technically they cheated audience. But who knows maybe after the success of the movie Netflix offered them huge amount.

I don't think this was after release or something because if producers had already sold the exclusive rights to Sunnxt, they cannot sell the same to Netflix again they will be in big trouble legally. I guess this has to do with SUNNXT, they would have had a deal for the movie with Netflix. Take Sanju for example, Hotstar had exclusive rights and they have licensed to Netflix as Hotstar is not live around the world yet.

It makes lot of sense. SunNxt must have bagged world digital rights hence they have chosen Netflix
