This season is work of masterpiece. Less slang(except last episode) less nuidity, strong acting and awesome story.

I finished watching Sacred Games season 2 yesterday and before finishing i also rewatched Season 1. I just didn't get hooked to Season 2 like Season 1 unlike many others who are saying this season was better. Personally found season 1 to be much more intense. Malcom Murad's character was pretty much wasted after high hopes on him.

While watching Season 2, the scenes in the Ashram and Guruji have me vibes of the spiritual Guru Osho/Rajneesh who had a similar group called Rajneesh movement which had a mind-blowing documentary on Netflix called "Wild Wild Country". After googling i did find out it was loosely based on them. The unsettling conversations in the Ashram were definitely great.

Some didn't like the cliffhanger ending while i personally have no issues with it because this show is pretty much about perceptions. There were many great messages delivered throughout the entirety of the show regarding politics and religious issues that the country faces as well as how a day to day life of an average middle class family is. They were all pretty spot on.

Now one thing i absolutely hated is that they shot in multiple foreign locations but other than that Ashram and Wilson's cafe and that Yadav's place which looked like any other resort i barely felt like they went abroad for shooting. When you go to such great locations make use of the sceneic beauty to make the show more atmospheric. I just didn't find that in this show.

Overall, i was not really satisfied with Season 2 because there were some plot holes which i noticed and few underwritten characters. I don't want to spoil much so i will leave it at that but the show it is worth watching and all the actors performed brilliantly. For me the Guruji takes the win this season in terms of acting. He made the show unsettling and disturbing even as he's calm. Kalki was also great as his assistant. The show gets an 8/10 for me overall.
