Exactly if i am right they had plans to re-release the movie after lockdown gets over since the initial response for the movie was affected by closing of cinemas and multiplexes

The movie didn't recover the investment, plus it had poor reviews. Even if they had re-released after the lockdown it wouldn't have worked out. It was a right decision to bring it on digital. I feel even all the small budget sld look for straight to an OTT Release. Once the lockdown and Coronavirus pandemic comes down there will be lot of movies lined up to release. And only big budget movies will sustain, that to with the competition with other big budget movies.
