Good news.. Does Hotstar support DD 5.1, if yes, I'm surprised and happy bcos Hotstar has got some good titles. Do we need to do any audio settings to watch in 5.1. Thanks for sharing.

Not at all, it is a pity that they take so much time to implement 5.1 forget Atmos. Shame. To say, Hotstar is owned by the prestigious Star TV and Disney. Streaming is gaining more popularity and many are upping the ante. I feel our Indian streamers will be left behind. Even SonyLIV do not have 5.1.Hotstarunstoppable in Coming days

Many our Indian peoples don't know about Dolby digital

Some years back I am downloaded Dhruva movie in Hotstar offline but full movie showing in mobile gallery also can share the movie to any devices
Means still these broadcast Companies using poor technology

Hotstar's VIP content is accessible using third party apps. I use Chrome on mobile to stream matches as they limit the resolution to 360p for some weird reason. Same happens to most series. Talking about offline videos on Hotstar. I downloaded Raid movie thrice back last year than also in HD. It either stops downloading mid-way or the download file doesn't play. In the end I gave and streamed it. Also the fonts on subtitles on tv is beautiful meanwhile on website and app is terrible.
