I'm not sure if there is a comparison thread, but I honestly feel Netflix is late in streaming new Indian films, they bring films which are already going to premiere soon on Tv. Whereas Amazon Prime start streaming the new films earlier and we really feel like watching a new film soon. Any thoughts ?

U r right brother prime video is ahead in premier of new movies. 1000rs in year is really value for money but Netflix is too costly. 500rs per month is toomuch

When you're done watching their originals. They have nothing good to offer. Most of the good movies could be streamed elsewhere legally on other streaming sites. And some are even on TV most of the time. Unless you are a anime fan you actually have no reason to subscribe for Netflix.

It's more a status statement than anything else!
Not for other than intellectuals and posh: Netflix subscribers.
I think prime video has better content curated for Posh users with impressive shows like The Royals and The Grand Tour. Netflix shows are very vulgar for posh audience.

I know that, that's the reason I mentioned intellectuals also. For them, 'Posh' or 'Class' doesn't come cheaply (price).

@ Amarjeet : Yes bro. Prime is definitely value for money.

@ Roy : Agreed. I have subscribed to Netflix and once I'm done watching some of their good original shows I will unsubscribe and stick to Amazon Prime alone.

@ Pranab : Absolutely, NetFlix and Chill has become a statement of pride for many.

No Netflix usually caters the mass audience just look at the no.of subscribers in other countries
I'm talking about India. As of now, it belongs to the 'Class' people (not for masses) only due to their very high subscription charges.
