It deserves. Giving less jndianized contents and not adding regionlal audio. The price tag is too high. Can't survive long time without changing business strategy

How many Indians know English ? How many can follow US accent ? When someone is offering content in Hindi, Punjabi, South Indian languages, they will take it and if they can afford, pay for it.

Mod Note: unnecessary comment snipped.

Why is voot and Sony liv always left in these type of articles. Always in every Indian OTT article also Ott are often compared with zee5 and sunnxt whereas voot and Sony liv which are more ahead in terms of subscription are left from the list

How many Indians know English?
India is second largest English population in the world.

US English doesn't have heavy accent if compared to UK's Queen's English.

Since the viewers can't afford it. They won't invest in making regional original. But you can still watch originals on your local Doordarshan channels which comes for free.

Stay on topic while discussing. There is no need to deviate.

According to Business Insider. Despite having an lag free experience. Netflix is still losing because of viewing habits of Indians. As most Indians are still hooked to their daily soaps and movies. This is where local players gets an edge because of legacy content.

Netflix is losing to homegrown OTT players in India — as the country remains addicted to soaps and movies
Indian Tv/Daily Soaps do not follow the structure of Seasons,Breaks and 3 Stage format of a Episode(i.e Starting,Middle,Ending). That is why Indian daily soaps are monotonous and Stretchy. The Content which is shown beautifully in Shows like BBT,Friends and Brooklyn 99 in 22 minutes is not handled/shown properly by major Indian shows. There is no interest created for the next Episode as it is very predictable.

People who understand Seasons have stopped watching Indian Daily Soaps,Majority of Indian Audience is rural people and they want something to be shown on Tv irrespective of the Quality. It will take time but Netflix/OTT players will gain its place in Indian Media.

His intention was not homophobia. In Quoted content removednow deleted post when I bashed him on same he clearly stated he felt uncomfortable with what he saw which is normal for someone from our society as homosexuality was taboo in our society just until couple of years ago. You can't expect everyone to be normalise with it yet. It's gonna take some some time.

Let's not extend this discussion. And let it be how it is.
