Seeking Help Need Help in Airtel Black Internet + IPTV Plan Unbundling

Hi everyone,
I need your help or suggestions on something related to my Airtel Black connection.Recently, my 10 Mbps internet connection got installed under the Airtel Black plan. Along with it, they provided an Airtel Xstream IPTV box. But honestly, my mother (for whom this connection is mainly set up) is not comfortable using the IPTV box. She prefers regular internet and simple usage.
So here’s what I want to do:

  1. I only want to keep the 10 Mbps internet plan.
  2. I want to surrender the IPTV box.
  3. In exchange, I’d like Airtel to increase the validity of my internet plan (since I’m not using the IPTV service).
  4. Once the current wallet balance is exhausted, I’d also like to know how much I will need to pay monthly just for the 10 Mbps internet plan.

Has anyone here dealt with a similar situation with Airtel? Or do you know if this kind of adjustment is possible? Appreciate any advice or suggestions. 🙏

I just installed almost 4-5 days ago, so if I unbundled the dth now,will I have to pay anything?
No personal experience I have with unbundling, so can not confirm on that.

But you can proceed with it, if it requires you to pay some charges, it will take your confirmation and show you the amount upfront. So you should be safe.
 
I would like to bring to your notice a serious issue I am facing with my Airtel Black connection. I had clearly requested to retain only the 10 Mbps broadband internet plan and permanently discontinue the IPTV/DTH services.

Here is a summary of the situation:

🔹 Advance Payment Made: ₹1,492
🔹 Plan Active: 198 Bundle Plan 10 Mbps_PKGTEL_3804
🔹 Bill Cycle: 30 May 2025 – 16 June 2025
🔹 Billing Mode: Ebill
🔹 First bill to be generated – No dues as per the system
🔹 Issue Faced: DTH box suspended and wallet shows ₹0, even though I’m only using the broadband plan.

Despite making an advance payment and not using the DTH service, I am confused why:
  1. My DTH box was suspended.
  2. My wallet balance shows zero, even when no IPTV service is in use.
  3. There is no clear confirmation from Airtel whether the DTH service has been deactivated.
