Need help regarding external dvd writers.

Bros regarding external dvd writers, can it play my old dvd video and picture cds on my big screen tv using usb port of my tv with sound?

If you're using Android TV then, it may be possible by installing some software. But, for normal or Smart TV it's not possible. TVs doesn't support UDF or CDFS file format either.
If you want to play DVD videos and picture then, it's better to use DVD player.
