Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Steven Mouyokolo has moved to Sochaux on a season-long loan.
Mouyokolo passed a medical on Wednesday morning before agreeing a deal that Sochaux can make permanent at the end of the season.
Mouyokolo moved to Molineux from Hull City last summer, but was limited to just six Barclays Premier League appearances in an injury-hit campaign.
Manager Mick McCarthy told the club's official website: "We saw huge potential in Steven but he has had injury problems that have limited his opportunities.
"But he is fit now and wants to play so it seems a good idea to let him go to France for a season and get some regular football under his belt."
