According to Gadgets 360’s sources, offline retailers have received stocks of both the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus. BGR India reached out to Motorola, and the company has confirmed that the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus will be available offline. Motorola has also confirmed that the devices have already reached outlets across the country.

When the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus were launched in India, there was a lot of hue and cry about the smartphones being exclusive to online platform. In fact, the Moto G5 Plus witnessed record sales on the first day of its launch with over 50 units sold per minute. This move comes at a time when Motorola just launched its budget smartphones, the Moto C and Moto C Plus which will be available in offline stores. The company appears to be heading to the offline segment to boost its sales.

Moto G5, Moto G5 Plus now available in offline stores in India

Yes, just confirmed. I'm going to the store now to take a look.

It's waste of time to go-to the store. First of all they didn't have a sample piece. Secondly, the price is 1.2k higher than online.

Motorola Phones which are available only on online till date are now available offline. Starting with Moto E1, G1, X1 Motorola Phones were once exclusively available to Flipkart only. Later expanded their partnership with Amazon India.
And now Lenovo owned Motorola has decided to go offline after 4 years of exclusive online sales. Prices are very high in offline Market compared to Online.

PHONES Online Price Offline Price

Moto C ₹5999 ₹6999
Moto G5 ₹11999 ₹12999
Moto G5 Plus ₹16999 ₹17999
Moto M ₹17999 ₹18999
Moto Z Play ₹24999 ₹26999

Don't know how they will sell at a higher MRP than the MRP printed on the box..!(n)(n)(n)

Exclusive share bro. This will boost their sell as many prefer to buy offline.(y)

But more price for same thing is not fair.(n)

ys bro many prefer to buy offline. this price difference is unacceptable.

pls change the heading to Motorola phones instead of G5 & G5 Plus

MRP is printed as 17999 on the box for Moto G5 plus. I checked it yesterday.

Guys it's obvious that prices will be higher in offline market. Actually they have done well to keep it under 1000, else distribution costs easily add 1500-2000₹ per piece. That was the reason cos can give better specs online. There is a big distribution chain & at every stage someone has to earn some money.

Try bargaining, they might reduce few hundred.
