Very Expensive Compared to MI Note 4 which is priced at Rs 12,699/-

MI Note 4 has 4GB Ram & 64GB Inbuilt memory were as Moto G5 Plus has 4GB Ram & 32GB Inbuilt memory

Mi Note has 4100 MAH Battery Capacity compared to 3000 MAH of Moto G5 Plus

MI Note Screen Display 5.5 compared to Moto G5 Plus 5.2 Inches

On the other side of the story......

Moto g5 has dedicated card slot which redmi doesn't.

Moto G5 has turbo power charger which is great for charging those big batteries in fraction of time, whereas Redmi takes 2-3 hrs for full charge.

Moto g5 has better ppi than redmi note 4 coz of 5.2" with same resolution + having Gorilla glass protection, redmi doesn't.

Moto g5 has much much better camera than redmi note 4.

Moto g5 has fm radio and has more 4g bands supported than redmi note 4.

Moto g5 has nfc needed by nfc pay(for near future)

Thus price tag is justified at 17k in comparison to redmi note 4 which is 13k, for 4k you get above +ves

And of course no FLASH SALESSS!!!

Does turbo charger really helps? Can you use turbo charger with power bank considering that it has small battery ?

Xiaomi has 1100 mAh bigger battery and We always take sleep at night so connecting phone with charger at sleep time isn't a big issue.

Secondly xiaomi phones comes with dragontail glass protection. So unless we try to break it intentionally it will not break in daily use, my personal experience.

Why you mentioned fm? It's there in all phones. RN4 has infrared can be used to control from ac to TV , g5 lacks it

NFC is good to hv but not practical as even today most people want cash payments(may be bcoz Merchant fee which banks charge) and those who accept card does not hv NFC terminal.

Turbo charging requires both phone and charger to be compatible with this tech, then only it will quick charge.

They never said they use dragontail glass, they mention we don't use any specific protection but have many different suppliers for the glass.

Everyone can charge at night but if a battery life is low and you need the phone if you have quick charge it will take 15min for 6hrs of battery to charge.

Yes regarding fm, it was my bad.. and i agree infrared is useful.

And i currently have a redmi note3. So i know mi as much as u.

I have seen them mentioning Dragontrail protection in lower model phones so if they are charging twice than those lower model for RN4 then it's sure that they will use that Dragontail or higher protection for glasses. Anyway I have mentioned it my personal experience  ;)

Regarding turbo charging : Do you know any power bank which can support turbo charging this G5+ ?  :huh

Yea. They have used dragontail is few handsets, but they have made few videos regarding the strength of the glass and have categorically mentioned that we cant say the brand we use coz we have different suppliers for the same glass..

For quick charge you can look at q.c 3 capable Power banks..but the prob is that all handsets have different kind of quick charge tech and both have to be able to support the same type of charging.. one plus has different where i think only the supplied charger can quick charge it....

So to juice up this Moto G5+ in turbo mode we need to carry power adapter and search for wall socket + electricity should be there at that time. I think it's much easier to charge this MOTO normally with normal power bank (5V+2Amp output) :s

Needs are different for different ppl i guess... But the fact u get an option to charge your phone quicker is not a negative
I don't carry a power bank all the time, i have source of Electricity all time be it car or socket, just a short time charge and you are good to go for full day.

I think quick charge works at 9v

Never felt the need of carrying a power bank... Turbo charger really comes in handy... I used it with Moto X Play and it did wonders for me. I just used to charge for 70-80 mins to get full charge and use the phone for 24 hours with mixed usage... Even though battery capacity of Moto G5 is less than Moto X Play, expecting similar performance due to efficient Snapdragon 625 processor.
