NEW DELHI: Over two weeks after unveiling it in India, Motorola has finally revealed the price of Moto 360 smartwatch, which goes on
sale at 12pm on October 2.

Though not the first Android Wear smartwatch in the country, Moto 360 is the first to have a round watch-face.

In a tweet, Motorola India revealed that its first Android Wear smartwatch will cost Rs
17,999. Unlike Samsung and LG's Android Wear smartwatches, the Motorola model will not be available on Google's Play Store.

Instead, buyers can order Moto 360 only via Flipkart, which also holds the exclusive rights to sell Motorola's smartphones.

The pricing of Moto 360 makes it a little more expensive than Samsung Gear Live and LG G
Watch, which cost Rs 14,999 and Rs 15,900,respectively. Though the latter is still in stock, the former is not available in the country at
present.
