Micromax Tuesday launched Canvas 6pro smartphone for the mid-premium segment priced at Rs 13,999.
Customers can pre-book the newly-launched device through Micromax e-store. The shipping will start from April 20, 2016, the company said in a statement.
Based on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS, It runs on MediaTek's 2.0GHz Helio X10 octa-core processor and comes with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB ROM.
Canvas 6pro smartphone features 13 megapixel PDAF rear camera and a 5 megapixel 4P Largan lens front camera.
The device comes with AROUND platform that offers a suite of relevant services for users.
"With the introduction of AROUND, our services platform, we have smartly integrated most of these functions and have done backend tie-ups with the best in class providers in the category," Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax Informatics said.
"Canvas 6pro is India's first device with 4GB RAM based on MediaTek helio X10 platform. This will significantly enhance the overall computing and multimedia experience for even the most demanding users," Kuldeep Malik, Country Head, Corporate Sales International at MediaTek India said.
