Micromax Informatics announced the first range of its Smart LED TV – Micromax Canvas Smart LED TV. The latest range announced by the company will be exclusively available on Flipkart in three sizes, 32-inch, 40-inch and 50-inch. The Smart LED TV range is expected to capture 12 percent of the television segment according to the company. The 32-inch model starts at Rs 19,999 while the 40-inch model is priced at Rs 29,999. The 50-inch TV at Rs 42,999. The Smart TVs will come preloaded with Google Play Store and Micromax will allow wireless smartphone control through M! Connect to the devices where you can browse channels, media files, adjust volume along with a handy trackpad in the app.
The series will have inbuilt Wi-Fi allowing consumers to access their favourite apps and media content on the devices. Micromax hopes to capitalise on the nascent market in India with these offerings to create an elaborate ecosystem where it will provide a seamless experience across multiple screens. Additional features like Miracast to cast mobile screen to the TV to share Photos and Videos in the phone and Home-Share to share media like music, videos and images between members of the home group will outsmart help the company attract customers.
