After launching the likes of the Canvas Knight 2, and the
Canvas Sliver 5 , Micromax seems to be readying another
4G-capable smartphone, called the Canvas Nitro 4G E455.
While the company has yet to reveal anything, Mumbai-
based mobile retailer Mahesh Telecom claims that the
smartphone is close to a launch.
The retailer says that the smartphone is available in his
store for Rs 10,999. The smartphone however is already
on sale via Indiatimes Shopping e-commerce site, priced a
tad lower at Rs 10,430. This listing was first spotted by
FoneArena.
Micromax Canvas Nitro 4G E455 specifications: The
smartphone flaunts a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS
display, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the
hood is a 1.4GHz 64-bit octa-core processor paired with
2GB of RAM.
Also on offer is 16GB internal storage, which can be
expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. On the
photography front, it features a 13-megapixel autofocus
rear camera with LED flash, supplemented with a 5-
megapixel selfie camera up front.
The smartphone also features a 2,500mAh battery, FM
Radio, and connectivity options dual-SIM card slots, 4G
LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
On the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Micromax’s Canvas Nitro 4G E455 will face some tough competition from the likes of the Yu Yureka Plus, Lenovo
K3 Note, and the Phicomm Passion 660 among others.
