Micromax has launched a new 4G smartphone, called the Canvas Amaze 2 . Priced at Rs 7,499, the smartphone will be available on Flipkart starting June 9. Successor to the Canvas Amaze, the smartphone comes with upgraded features such as the latest processor, bigger battery and 4G LTE connectivity. The Canvas Amaze 2 is priced at Rs 7,499, while the Canvas Amaze is a 3G smartphone that comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999.

The smartphone features a 5-inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It comes along with 32GB of internal storage, and supports expandable storage via microSD.

The Amaze 2 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel selfie camera with auto focus. The smartphone is powered by a 2,500mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. On the software front, it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
