Manna Foods, makers of Manna range of Health products, on Monday announced cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin as its global brand ambassador.
Speaking on the arrangement, Isak Nazar, MD, Manna Foods, said: "The association has happened at a time when we are at an aggressive expansion and growth phase. We are confident that the association with Ashwin will take us to the next level."
"What excites me is not only the key focus on natural health products but also the fact that I can be a catalyst of change for the young generation to embrace change in the food habits. Coming from the old school of thought, tradition and heritage values are close to my heart, it is important to take home the values of our traditional practice and am happy to be associated with the brand," said Ashwin.
Manna Foods has established foothold in the southern states and in the Union territory of Puducherry. It entered the Eastern markets (Orissa, West Bengal and Bihar) last year.
