Daily minimum 3-4 hour Power-Cut. 😆
In a sense it's not a common thing bro. Our trains works with diesel not electric. Also during power cuts traffic and street lights remain unaffected. Also our institutions are ready with back-ups like diesel generators and invertors. In here that's not the case.
 
Mumbai always had one of the best (no pun intended) power supply track records in the country. Few days back we had a power strike in UP East to protest against privatization and we had no electricity for 2 days.
 
For us it's a common thing. 😂

In Tamilnadu
From June 2008 to approx May 2011 : There was 2 hours power cut in RoTN except chennai

June 2011 to May 2012 : There was 20 hours power cut in RoTN (power was there only for 1 hour every 6 hours) and for 4 hours power cut in Chennai

Note : All values mentioned above are PER DAY !!!!
 
Several areas in Mumbai experienced a power outage due to “TATAs incoming electric supply failure”.

“Due to grid failure, the supply of power in the city is disrupted,” a Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport [BEST] spokesperson confirmed.

“The electric supply is interrupted due to TATAs incoming electric supply failure. Inconveniences is regretted,” it posted on Twitter.
