The instant messaging app Line has rolled out a group calling feature for its Android and iOS users. The new feature enables users to voice call more than one person at a time within the groups or multiple person chats.

The company states that the group calling feature supports up to 200 users. Once a group chat is initiated, a notification is sent to all the members of the group participating in the chat. A new icon will appear above the user icon of the person who is currently speaking.

Along with this, the update also brings along a redesigned 'More' screen. The 'More' screen will have a different layout for the menu icons. The app will now enable users to easily spot when their friends have updated their profiles.

The update can be downloaded from the Google Play store and Apple App store.

Last month, Skype introduced its new group video calling feature for Android, iOS and Windows phone users. The group calling feature from Skype enables users to have a free group video call with up to 25 participants. The video call takes a grid view to see all the callers and also focus on the active speaker
