South Korean consumer electronics maker LG would foray into the premium ceiling fans segment this season, which will have advance features such as Internet of Things ( IoT) technology, a top company official has said.

The smart fans would be connected through the Internet and would automatically adjust its speed according to change in temperature and could be controlled from anywhere through cloud computing.

However, the company has not yet come out the pricing and said that they are working on that. LG plans to launch three models in which one would have IoT features.

LOL the son, sitting in america, will sense that it is too hot for his parents sleeping in india, and will switch on the fan for them.. he will feel it is too cold for them after a few mins & will reduce the speed :D

We need AI in fan so that we don't need to do anything manually

BTW LG have failed miserable in CES 2018 demo infront of world wide media and this happens when you show half baked products. Hopw this time it's not like that
