Lenovo has reportedly added a new budget Android smartphone to its portfolio. Dubbed, Lenovo Vibe B, the smartphone has been detailed by retailer Mahesh Telecom, which has posted screenshots of the smartphone’s specifications along with a price tag of Rs 5,799. Based on the Facebook page of the retailer, the Lenovo Vibe B will be available starting March 10. Lenovo is yet to confirm the official availability of the said smartphone.

According to Mahesh Telecom , the Lenovo Vibe B features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek 6735m quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. It further includes 8GB of onboard storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
For photography, it comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with fixed focus and single LED flash. Up front, there is a 2-megapixel fixed focus front camera. It is fuelled by a 2,000mAh battery that is claimed to offer a standby time of over 7 days and talk time of up to 11 hours. Connectivity options include support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802/11/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The smartphone comes pre-loaded with social networking and productivity apps including Skype, Twitter, Evernote, UC Browser, and more. On the software front, the Lenovo Vibe B runs Android 6.0 .
Although Lenovo has not officially confirmed the smartphone, in the entry-level category the Lenovo Vibe B competes against the likes of LYF Wind 5 (priced at Rs 5,599) which comes with a 5-inch HD display and an 8-megapixel rear camera. If you are stuck with the Lenovo brand, you can consider the newer Vibe K5 Plus (priced at Rs 7,999) that comes with an 1080p display and is powered by a Snapdragon octa-core processor. If you could invest a little more money, you can also consider the Xiaomi Redmi 3S (Rs 6,999) that comes with 4,100mAh battery and 13-megapixel rear camera.
