Lenovo has launched its latest quad-core dual-SIM smartphone for India, dubbed the S660, priced at Rs 13,999. The phone can be bought through the company’s e-store and at retailers across the country.

In terms of specs, the Lenovo S660 is definitely a mid-range phone. It has a 4.7 IPS qHD display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels, which is a shame given the price. These days we have phones with 720p displays at this range.

The phone is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 1GB RAM. The S660 will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean flavour as its operating system. The company has also loaded Mali 400 GPU. Both the SIM slots support 3G. Lenovo has provided 8GB of built-in storage space which is further upgradable to 32GB thanks to the microSD card slot in the phone. The rear camera of S660 has 8 megapixel resolution LED flash. The front camera has 0.3 megapixel resolution.

Lenovo S660 comes with a replaceable 3000 mAh Li-Po battery which is said to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time on 2G network and in between 7 to 10 hours on 3G network. The phone comes with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE as connectivity features.

The S660 comes close on the heels of another dual-SIM smartphone from Lenovo called A526. The phone comes loaded with 1.3 GHz MT6582M quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes fitted with a 5-megapixel rear snapper and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. All of this is fuelled by a Li-Po 2000 mAh battery
