Lenovo has sent out media invites for its next smartphone launch, which is scheduled for November 29 in Delhi. The invite couldn’t have been more revealing, and the company clearly mentions that it will be launching the K6 Power smartphone. In the run up to the event, Lenovo has been teasing different aspects of the upcoming smartphone.

The media invite also comes with a partial photo of the phone, which shows a design that is very similar to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 3. The image shows a gold colored K6 Power with the camera module and a circular fingerprint sensor placed at the back. At the bottom you can spot the Lenovo logo, and the speaker grille. Lenovo’s K6 Power is also anticipated to feature a metal body. The smartphone is said to be available three colors — dark grey, gold and silver.
The K6 Power has already been unveiled at IFA earlier this year in Berlin, along with two other smartphones — the K6 and the K6 Note. There is no word on the pricing of the Lenovo Vibe K6 Power, but if reports are to be believed, the smartphone is expected to be a mid-range device.
Lenovo K6 Power specifications
The Lenovo K6 Power comes with a 5-inch full HD (1080p) display with pixel density of 441ppi. Under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor (four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.2GHz + four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz) paired with Adreno 505 GPU. The smartphone is likely to launch in two variants, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage, and the higher variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The onboard storage can be further expanded to 256GB via a microSD card.
In the camera department, the smartphone is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) and LED flash. Up front, the smartphone houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera with video recording capability at 1080p. The Lenovo K6 Power is armed with a 4,000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the smartphone includes dual-SIM support, 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow wrapped under Vibe UI. Just like many other Lenovo smartphones, the K6 Power is also comes with Dolby ATMOS audio support.
