Lava X81 with 4G support, Android 6.0 Marshmallow launched at Rs 11,500

Lava has launched a new smartphone called the Lava X81 . Priced at Rs 11,500, the smartphone will be available across all its retail stores and multi-brand outlets and be exclusively available online through Flipkart starting June 13. The smartphone is available in grey color option and there is also a gold color variant which will be available starting next month.

The talking point of the smartphone is that it supports 4G LTE and also runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Lava X81 also supports VoLTE, which will soon be made available via an OTA update.

Lava X81 specifications and features :

The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch HD display and is covered with a 2.5D curved display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

On the camera front the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash and 84 degree wide angle lens. The Lava X81 comes with a 2,700mAh Li-Po battery which the company claims offers up to 2 days of standby time. The Lava X81 runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box and supports connectivity options such as 4G LTE which is further upgradable to VoLTE, dual SIM (4G + 4G), Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi.
