Saudi Arabia and Kuwait booked a place in the final of the ACC U19 Challenge Cup 2011 with comprehensive wins in the semifinals in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.

Saudi Arabia and Kuwait will play each other in the final on Saturday.

At Kinrara Oval, Kuwait took on China in the first semifinal. China batted first and was restricted to 133 for 9 in its 50 overs.

A rain interruption meant that Kuwait was set a revised target of 115 off 36 overs. Kuwait overhauled this target in just 16 overs to end at 117 for 1.

In the other semi-final, Bhutan was bowled out for just 93 off 30 overs. Saudi Arabia comfortably reached the target, to end at 96 for 2 in just 14.4 overs.

Iran finished fifth beating Maldives at Penang Sports Club. Batting first Iran made 137 off 45.2 overs. A rain interruption meant a revised target of 137 off 34 overs for Maldives. But Maldives was bowled out for just 95 in just 26.4 overs to hand Iran a 42 run win.

Brunei and Myanmar play for the seventh place on the morrow.
