Kidambi Srikanth beats Kenta Nishimoto to win French Open Super Series title

Riding the crest of his sparkling form Kidambi Srikanth dished out a blemish less performance to collect his fourth Super Series title of the year. The 25-year-old dazzled in the 'City of Love' to become the first Indian French Openchampion on Sunday.



Srikanth took just 34 minutes to ease past Japanese qualifier Kento Nishimoto in the Super Series final 21-14, 21-13 at the Stade Pierre De Coubertin. In the process Srikanth surpassed Saina Nehwal as the only Indian to win four Super Series titles in a year

Yes thats quite an achievement from Kidmabi Srikanth.He joined a select few who have won 4 Super Series in a calendar year.He also becomes No 2 in the world and No 1 in Super Series ranking. Hope He becomes No 1 in the world in near future.
