Sixth edition of KPL to start on September 1
The sixth edition of the Karnataka Premier League is all set to start at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on September 1. The tournament is scheduled to be played over 19 days across three venues - Mysuru, Huballi and Bengaluru.
The opening game of the tournament sees the Hubli Tigers and Belagavi Panthers kick things off in Bengaluru. The newest franchise - Bengaluru Blasters will play their first game the next day against Mysuru Warriors after which the action will move to Mysuru where 12 matches will be played.
The final of the tournament will be played on September 23 in Hubbali, which will also host ten matches including the semifinals.
The tournament will also have five double-header match days when the action will start at 1500 IST and the second game set for 1900 IST.
