if it is supporting whatsapp thn i think it will supoort we chat too.. this phone might be on the S40 platforms of nokia phones or similar like that one... if one can install a java version of wechat on it i think it will work.. but not sure

Please post your link. Because, as per my research this phone is available for even lesser price and the support for WhatsApp isn't mentioned in specs. May be this is a new version of the same phone.

That's not a correct assumption. They would have specifically made a java app to get WhatsApp working on this phone. Someone has to make Wechat too if that needs to work.
