Karbonn has launched a new entry-level smartphone, the Karbonn A91 Storm . The smartphone is listed on company’s official website without any price tag, but is available on Amazon India for Rs 2,899. The Karbonn A91 Storm is available in blue, white and black color options.

The smartphone comes with a 4-inch display with WVGA (800 x480) pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Also on offer is 4GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.
On the camera front the smartphone sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash and a VGA front camera. The smartphone is equipped with 2,200mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to offer 8 hours of talktime and 250 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include, 3G, dual-SIM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3.5 mm audio jack. The Karbonn A91 Storm runs Andorid 5.1 Lollipop.
Based on the price and specifications the Karbonn A91 Storm offers, the smartphone will take on a range of entry-level 3G smartphones. Devices like the Reliance Digital LYF Flame 5 and Intex Cloud Fame are priced about Rs 1,000 higher than the Karbonn A91 but offer better set of specifications. The LYF Flame is priced at Rs 3,999 and comes with VoLTE support. The Cloud Fame can also be a good competition as it comes with 4G support and Android Marshmallow.
