MUMBAI: JWT India has brought home two bronze metals in the radio category for its shortlisted entry titled ‘Nakka Mukka, Now in English’ in the subcategory- Consumer Services and Music/Sound Design at the Spikes Asia Festival 2011.
‘Nakka Mukka, Now in English’ was created by agency’s executive creative director Senthil Kumar, who had don the director's chair and scripted the ad for Bennett, Coleman & Co. The ad was premiered on Radio Mirchi and Suryan FM.
India won a total of 34 metals out of the 612 entries – the highest entries submitted this year from 17 countries at Spikes Asia '11 .
Lowe Singapore, won the biggest honours at the festival for radio with three grand prixs for its entry ‘Awesome Light’, ‘Chase’, ‘Look at me, Dad!’ and two gold for Samroc Paint and Hardware, while Ogilvy Singapore bagged six silver medals- the highest in the radio category.
