As I said previously don't expect sports channels in native mode, they're investing huge on Jiohotstar and they're not gonna lose the money.

Yes, may be Jio will take this route only for sports. Star sports will redirect to Jiohotstar. Because the ads and its delivery according to specific devices in which is getting watched is important for them to sell the ads (as per them particular/precise ads delivery). So it can't be done in Jiotv+. They have investing/invested huge for this type of ad delivery.
