Should've had 5G SIM slot also for those who want to use it as a hotspot for the unlimited 5G data without having to subscribe to wired broadband.

That's the last thing they wanna do. Convert potential fiber users into free 5g users. I know it takes recharge of ₹349 and above for 5G. But the subscription is still complementary. They did themselves wrong by continuing unlimited 5G since last 3 years. It's high time the introduce standalone 5G plans for around ₹500. Than again they would have to provide unlimited 4G along with it because of unstable 5G.

Don't see any point why one will buy this router with so much of restriction, you can't do anything on your own like port forwarding or even setup of static IP.

Am I missing anything here?

Unlimited 4G won't be possible coz of limited spectrum and bandwidth. With 5G there is ample spectrum bandwidth that's why they are able to provide unlimited data.
