According to rumors, the Disney+ Hotstar Dev & Product team has been sent to work for Disney+ (Global) now. JioHotstar will be managed entirely by the JioCinema team.

No to pry.., but I did see some people who work for Hotstar (from my college) are still there as per Linked in atleast! Can I know if you got this info from someone close to you.?

This might also explians the stupid UI and UX changes that came up with the launch of the platform if thats correct.

No , only few are re hired by Disney . Rest are with Jiohotstar .
You can say that none of the resource were lost from Digital side on merger .

they are working on hulu integration to Disney plus which will eventually see the exit of Star + and Disney plus hotstar in SEA market

voot.com and vootkids.com domains are also redirecting to hotstar.com/in

No. Viacom18 Studios will distribute Paramount movies.

Regardless of whether or not remnants of the legacy Disney+ Hotstar team are still with the current PinkStar team, it is pretty obvious that the final authority of the creative(!?) decisions & approvals on the UI/UX designs for the newly formed Star India's properties (both digital & TV) squarely resides with the pink people (63.16% shareholders of Star India)

Hence the pink, purple combo & the awesome crow poop like star (spark!?) in the logo

I don't know about you, but I for one am eagerly awaiting a proper demolition of the Star Sports logo on March 15, the channels rebranding/launch day. Fingers crossed for another pink purple combo. May be this time the star/spark will look like cow dung instead of crow poop. Be ready, everyone!
